Re: the Virginia story – seems like a better policy for povery prevention would also mean an easier time controlling trash. It was a little disheartening that all 3 posts responding to that piece focused how embarassing the trailer situation is for the county instead of making any connection between what seems to be an obvious lack of affordable housing that meets code.
On different but everydaytrash-related note, did I tell you I’m making a New Year’s Resolution for the first time ever, inspired by everydaytrash? Starting an indoor compost bin was at the top of the list, but I’m a little too lazy for that, so instead I’m setting out to waste less food by not overbuying at the grocery, thinking I’m going to cook more than I have time for, etc.

My fellow garblogger Leila, I’ve just “tagged” you on my blog to participate in the “5 things to know about me” blogger meme. Hope you don’t mind.
Since you’ve been a bit quiet the last week or two, I hope all is well with you. Are you traveling again?
Best regards,
Keith

Hey Keith,
Thanks for the tag. I have to respectfully decline the invitation to meme since I’m trying to keep this blog only marginally about me!
Hope all’s well, I’ll check out your newest posts soon.

No problem, Leila. I did not want to make my blog about me either, but Katia urged me to make an exception and I have had people ask before who is this nutcase and why is he so obsessed… LOL Well, not really articulated that way, but sometimes sounds like the thought behind what they actually say…
Best Regards,
Keith
