Hello from Essaouira, Morocco. Sorry for the light, or rather absence of posting this week. My sister and I decided rather last minute to spend the holiday weekend…plus a few extra days…with our Iranian father by meeting up half way between Tehran and Brooklyn. I hope you are all having wonderful meals today with loved ones whether or not you celebrate American Thanksgiving.
Here are some other links to check out until I return home to more familiar keyboards and speedier Internet service on Sunday.
- Ruby Reusable has discovered a new garblog;
- Je me recycle has a photo of a temple made out of plastic bottles;
- Fake Plastic Fish tests out biobags; and
- The Visible Trash Society features a rad chair made from old bike tires.

I was looking for your everydaytrash post about art, where there was a comment conversation going on about not all recycled art being ART, how it was trendy and it seemed liked everybody was jumping on the bandwagon but not all of it was really environmentally conscious, just a gimmick to sell more crap … something like that, but I could not find it … do you recall? ’cause I had wanted to link to that and continue that conversation!

Ruby, I will look for that conversation. Looking forward to continuing it. I just read your Second Lives post and saw the criticism of the show in the Times. The never-ending debate of trash art!
