INSANE. I have never seen a map like that before, it really shows the scale of the problem. Thanks, Victor.

The video and companion blog are extremely comprehensive, and the site shows a little animation of water currents to explain just how all that floating plastic ends up in one place. I must admit, I haven’t watched all 12 episodes. Perhaps I’ll invite a friend over for a marathon this weekend.
