    Learned TWO new things today: I never knew that Oscar was anything but green…and Gordon once had hair? ! Gordon visited the shopping mall in my college town…and we went to see him. I actually waited in line to get his autograph. I told him he looked exactly the same as all those years ago, but I guess I was wrong.

    Alas, I do not have Oscar’s autograph.

    My hero, my inspiration! The creators of Sesame Street said in an interview a while back that a character like Oscar would never be possible if they started the show today – political correctness forbids….
